HOW TO ORDER PROFESSIONAL PRINTS

There is just something about a printed photo that is special, one that you can hold in your hand, place in an album, or frame on your desk.  Even though I received a digital copy of all of my wedding photos, along with a professional wedding album, I still ordered hundreds of tangible photographs for personal use and to give as gifts to family and friends.

To all of my past, present, and future couples out there, get excited because I have some AMAZING news!  You guys might have noticed my gorgeous new galleries that you received with your engagement and wedding photos.  If you haven’t, check them out because they look exactly like a pretty Pinterest board and are so easy to share.  You can actually upload your photos directly to Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest straight from your gallery!  It is super cool but not as cool as the news I have to share.  Just last weekend, I updated all of my couples’ galleries with the ability to order PRINTS!  The best part?  The prices.:) It is really important to me to offer my clients a high quality product at an affordable price.  You now have the opportunity to order a 4×6 for $1, a 5×7 for $2, and an 8×10 for $4 from my professional lab!!!  How you ask?  It is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step One: Go to your personal gallery through your wedding website (ex. www.abbyandmax.amyrizzutophotography.com) and click on the photo section.  This will bring up your gallery.

Step Two:  Select the photo you would like printed and click on the “Order Prints” button on the right hand side of the screen.

Step Three: Select the size you want and how many of that photo you want and add to your cart.  Once you have chosen all the photos you would like printed, checkout!

Your photos will be delivered directly to your house within the next couple of weeks.  The only thing left to do is jump up and down when they arrive at your door!

If that wasn’t cool enough, you also have the ability to order prints from your smart phone or iPad!  Simply open up your gallery on your smart device, click on the photo you like, and follow the instructions above.  For easy access, place your gallery as an app on your smart phone or iPad clicking the arrow coming out of the box at the bottom of your screen and choosing “Add to Home Screen”.  There is nothing cooler then being able to show off your pretty photos on the go.  :)  Want to learn more?  Watch this helpful video on how to use your gallery.  HAPPY PRINTING!

DREAM ENCOURAGERS : PASTOR TERRY + SHARON SMITH

Today is a very exciting day!  Drum roll please……:) Today, I am so excited to introduce you to the man behind the book that encouraged me to go after my dream and become a wedding photographer!  Meet Pastor Terry and his wife Sharon Smith!  Two years ago, Pastor Terry released the book he wrote called “TEN“, a book that encourages you to go after your God given dreams and live life to the fullest. “I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” -John 10:10  You can read my review on the book here.  Through reading TEN and the encouragement of my friends in the Holewski Life Group, I discovered that God had given me a passion for photography and weddings for a reason.  I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business, and I haven’t looked back ever since!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Pastor Terry and Sharon for the “Invite In Campaign” happening at The Life Christian Church this spring.  Check out a few of my favorite images below!

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

SHOULD I BUY PARENT ALBUMS FOR MY WEDDING?

You plan for months…even YEARS for your wedding day, and most likely they are by your side every step of the way.  I am not talking about your fiancé (although hopefully this is the case).  Today I want to take a moment to recognize those who you call to help you put together the guest list, bring to your dress fitting, and the people who are maybe even financially supporting the wedding…YOUR PARENTS!  I can not imagine what planning my wedding would have been like without my mom and dad, and after everything was over, I wanted to find a way to say thank you for everything they had done.  My gift to them?  The parent album!

Since the parent albums I gave my mom and dad were such important gifts for me, I wanted to make sure to offer the highest quality parent albums to my brides and grooms.  My parent albums are actually an exact replica of the wedding albums I design!  They are a little smaller (offered as an 8×8) and are the perfect size book to set on top of a coffee table.  The pages are super thick and lay flat when opened.  The cover of the album is exactly the same as well…photograph and imprinting included!  They really are a beautiful way to tell the story of your wedding day and the perfect thank you for the people who helped it all come together.

Last Friday, I received Alyssa and Michael’s album collection in the mail.  Before I packaged them up, I took a few photographs of their adorable parent albums! Check them out below.

Alyssa and Michael chose a 10×10 album for themselves and two 8×8 albums for their parents.

The pages of these parent albums are just as thick as Alyssa and Michael’s album, ensuring they will be in great condition for years to come!

All albums arrive nestled neatly in an Amy Rizzuto Photography box to keep them safe.  Simply wrap up your parent albums with a sweet note and watch how their faces light up as you present your pretty gift!  :)  They will love reliving your day each time they pull out their album to show to family and friends.

LIVING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE : BESS BE FIT

When Bess contacted me to photograph a day on the beach with her, I couldn’t have been more excited!  She went to school in North Carolina, played a Division I college sport, and her longtime boyfriend is a baseball player!  We have SO much in common!  More importantly, Bess is also a fellow blogger!  I am proud to introduce you to the beautiful writer behind Bess Be Fit!  Bess Be Fit details out the journey of Bess to stay fit and live a healthy life after leaving the athletic world of college sports.  In Bess’ own words:

“I played soccer in college at Wake Forest University and after a lifetime of playing sports and training practically every day of the week, I suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands.  I wanted fitness to still remain an important part of my life, so I started my blog, Bess Be Fit, as a way of holding myself accountable and documenting my life in the process.  I aim to eat healthy but don’t deprive myself of treats, as you’ll see on a regular basis if you read my blog.  I like to workout and enjoy so many different types of exercise from running to yoga to cross-training and strength training.  Anything that lets me move and sweat and feel alive I love!  I want to help others on their fitness journey and will soon be offering online nutrition guidance and exercise plans through my blog so I can do just that!”

This Wednesday, I had the opportunity to photograph Bess by the ocean in Long Branch!  The weather was amazing and Bess…SO BEAUTIFUL!

Bess is fun, outgoing, and all around such a sweet person!  She really was a joy to photograph.

Bess is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.  She hopes to share her same love for being active and also loving delicious, healthy food!

The sunset on Wednesday was so pretty!  Pink and blue tones filled the sky as it slowly dipped below the horizon.

Seriously Bess?!  You are GORGEOUS!!!  To read more about this talented woman, head over to Bess Be Fit today.  HAPPY FRIDAY!
